About the role
Run BuildKartX for the whole cluster: dealer network, sales, deliveries and profit, with the business development team reporting to you.
Key responsibilities
- Own the cluster's targets for orders, tonnage, revenue and margin.
- Lead the Business Development Managers and Executives in the cluster.
- Build and keep a strong network of dealers and stockists in every major town of the cluster.
- Make sure orders are delivered on time and payments are collected.
- Solve escalations from buyers and dealers, and share market and price updates with the head office.
Requirements
- 6+ years in sales or operations in steel, cement or building materials, with 2+ years managing a territory and team.
- Deep knowledge of the cluster's towns, dealers and builders.
- Has managed a sales team and a P&L or territory target before.
- Speaks Kannada and English; Hindi is a plus.
- Willing to travel across the cluster; own vehicle preferred.
